Concealed Carry Permit Course
Get your permit to carry a concealed firearm in Florida.
This course covers basic concealed carry rules, with hands-on range time and a certificate of completion.

This course is carried out on the range under a certified range officer, covering basic handgun safety rules and proper handling and shooting skills.

Although Florida allows permitless concealed carry, there are serious limitations -- which is why it's much safer to carry with a Florida Concealed Weapons License (CWL). Simply driving or walking within 1,000 feet of a school with a concealed firearm is a federal crime unless you hold a CWL (you still can't bring a gun onto the school grounds itself). If you ever travel, a Florida CWL is recognized in 37 states, while permitless carry rights stop at the Florida border. A CWL also exempts you from Florida's 3-day waiting period on gun purchases.

The Handgun Shooting and Safety Course is a standalone class for building comfort and skill with a handgun on the range, run by a certified range officer -- it doesn't produce any CCW paperwork.
